For those seeking convenience and proximity to the terminals, the Garage and Daily Lot offers the quickest access to both terminals.

Parking is first-come, first-served: All parking at Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is first-come, first-served. Reservations are not available.
Cash is only accepted at pay-on-foot kiosks: Cash is no longer accepted at parking lot cashier booths. Customers paying with cash must use pay-on-foot self-service kiosks located in Garage 1 and outside Door 1 at Terminal B.
Kiosk locations: For passengers coming from Terminal A, cash payment kiosks are on Level 1 in lobbies C and D and on Level 3 in lobby C of Garage 1. For Terminal B, kiosks are located on Level 5 in lobby E.
Economy lots require shuttle access: Economy parking areas are the farthest from the terminals and do not have a pedestrian walkway. Travelers should allow extra time for shuttle transport.
All paid lots are ticketed on entry: When entering any paid parking lot, take a ticket and pay upon exit with a credit or debit card.
Lots may close during peak times: If a lot fills and closes, customers must select an alternate lot and pay the posted rate. Allow extra time during peak travel periods.

Covered & Close Parking
The Garage 1 is pro-rated as $2 per 30 minutes or portion thereof, until passing 3½ hours; afterwards, the fee due is the daily maximum of $20 per 24-hour period.
Clearance: Vertical clearance in Garage 1 is 8 feet 2 inches.
EV charging: Stations available near the Terminal A and Terminal B elevators.
Shuttle service: Not provided within the garage.
Location and access: Covered parking for Terminals A and B with pedestrian bridges on the 3rd floor (Terminal A) and 5th floor (Terminal B).
Under construction, Garage 2 will provide an additional 5,500 parking spaces west of Terminal B.
Close Parking
The Daily Lot is pro-rated as $2 per 30 minutes or portion thereof, until passing 2½ hours; afterwards, the fee due is the daily maximum of $13 per 24-hour period.
Oversized vehicles: Vehicles longer than 21 feet are charged double the posted rate.
EV charging: Four Level 2 chargers and one paddle charger available.
Shuttle service: Operates every 15–20 minutes.
Location: The Daily Lot is located prior to the entrance to the garage on Airport Boulevard.
The East, South, and West Economy Parking Lots offer the most affordable long-term option for travelers looking to save while still enjoying easy shuttle access to both terminals.
The South Economy lot is pro-rated as $2 per 30 minutes or portion thereof, until passing 2 hours; afterwards, the fee due is the daily maximum of $11 per 24-hour period.
EV charging: Not Available
Shuttle service: Runs every 25–30 minutes. Allow up to 60 minutes from parking to terminal arrival. No pedestrian walkway to the Terminals.
Location: South of the airport roadway system.
The East Economy lot is pro-rated as $2 per 30 minutes or portion thereof, until passing 2 hours; afterwards, the fee due is the daily maximum of $11 per 24-hour period.
EV charging: Not Available
Shuttle service: Runs every 25–30 minutes. Allow up to 60 minutes from parking to terminal arrival. No pedestrian walkway to the Terminals.
Location: East of the terminals near Airport Boulevard.
The West Economy lot is pro-rated as $2 per 30 minutes or portion thereof, until passing 2 hours; afterwards, the fee due is the daily maximum of $11 per 24-hour period.
EV charging: Not Available
Shuttle service: Runs every 25–30 minutes. Allow up to 60 minutes from parking to terminal arrival. No pedestrian walkway to the Terminals.
Location: West of the terminals along Airport Boulevard.
The airport provides free shuttle service at both terminals 24 hours day to and from the rental car terminal, the Daily Lot and the Economy Lot. The rental car shuttles pick up and drop off by specific terminals. If you are waiting at the rental car facility, please check to make sure you have the correct bus for the airline you need to be dropped off at. You can find a list of airlines and what terminal they are in here.
At Terminal B, airport shuttles drop off and pick up passengers at the east entrance of the first level (baggage claim) outside doors 3 & 4. See the Ground Transportation map for the specific location. To check in, passengers should take an elevator or escalator to the second level ticket counters.

Persons with disabilities with a valid disabled license plate or placard may park in designated spaces in any lot at the posted rate. Shuttle buses are lift-equipped. However, shuttle bus service is not provided in the parking garage.
Electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations are available in the parking garage, the Daily Lot and the Free Waiting Area. Look for signage to the charging stations.
Two Level 2 electrical vehicle charging stations are available on each floor of the garage near the Terminal A elevators. Four Level 2 chargers are available in the Daily Lot in addition to one paddle charging unit for older model Toyota RAV4 and related electrical vehicles.
There are twelve Level 1 electrical vehicle charging stations available near the Terminal B elevators. There are two charging stations on floors 2, 3, 4 and 6 and four charging stations, including two in handicapped parking spaces, on the 5th floor.
EV chargers and their designated spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Use of charging stations is free. Standard parking fees apply.
SMUD operates a DC Fast Charger and two Level 2 electrical vehicle charging stations in the Free Waiting Area. There is a fee for this service.
Airport parking facilities are subject to filling and closing without notice. This is most likely to happen at the parking garage and the Economy Lot.
When the Economy Lot fills to capacity and closes, customers are directed to park in the Daily Lot, which is the next least expensive lot, and to pay the posted rate.
Check space counts here. (Lots may close if availability shows ~250 spots). Please reference overhead signage and construction message boards as you enter the airport to know which lots are open and closed.
Need to park more than a day or two? All of the paid lots at Sacramento International Airport are available for extended trips. The Daily Lot is $13 per day and the Economy Lot is $11 per day. If you plan to be away for more than three weeks, please call 916.874.0825.

Customers wanting to pay with cash will need to pay prior to returning to their car at specifically designated pay-on-foot self-service kiosks in the parking garage and outside Door 1 at Terminal B.
For passengers coming from Terminal A, cash payment kiosks are located on level 1 in lobbies C and D and on level 3 in lobby C in the parking garage. For passengers coming from Terminal B, cash payment kiosks are located on level 5 in lobby C of the parking garage.
